The death of Benazir Bhutto saddens all who long for peace in this world. It was a needless and violent death, a death born of hate. A death born of intolerance. A death that is an affront to all religions, be they Jew, Christian or Muslim. It is a death that is an affront to God.

Benazir Bhutto is a Muslim. Islamic radicals claim that such killing is "God's Will". This is not so. Islam is a religion that bases its beliefs on the foundations of Monotheism. It builds upon the beliefs of both Judaism and Christianity. Its basic tenets are founded in the same laws as brought forth by Moses.

Moses, as we all know, delivered the stone tablets of God's law as given to Moses by God. Unlike other Godly texts, such as the Talmud, Gospels, or the Qur'an, these tablets were written by the Hand of God, not by the hand of man. There were no Angels involved, no Prophets. No Apostles or Companions. No middlemen of any sort to corrupt the Word.

Upon those tablets are the 10 commandments. One of these commandments is "THOU SHALL NOT KILL". Some have interpreted it as "shall not murder", but this is just a convenient excuse to make war or take revenge, as those who wish to profit from the suffering of war, or who wish to take revenge for some grievance, will always find a way to reason that their actions are not "murder", but are justified.

There are no justifications for killing of any kind. Not by a man on a man, not by a man on a woman, not by a Muslim on a Christian, or by a Christian on a Jew. Not by a state on a state. Not in retaliation (Qisas) or revenge by either man or state. There are no reparations (Diyya) for killing.

Ever.

The Qur'an, the Talmud and the Gospels have all been interpreted to justify killing by those who seek power over peace and truth. Holy Wars, Crusades, Jihad (bis Saif)... all in the name of God. These are wrong.

Killing of any kind is against the will of God, it is an affront to God's love. All those who kill in his name will be judged by God. There will be no virgins waiting in heaven (which is actually a disgusting thought and wholly disrespectful to women), no blissful peace at God's side in paradise. No, there will be no reward but the fiery pits of Hell and eternal torment.

For all those who claim to believe in God, this is God's word. Heed it.
